Los abuelos

[7 de Agosto. Santiago, Chile]

La marcha familiar por la educación continuaba por la calle Curicó, en un ambiente de alegría y unión. Por los edificios se asomaban algunos con banderas, lanzando papel picado, con sus cacerolas y sonrisas de apoyo.

El apoyo se sentía de todas partes, el movimiento dejó de ser sólo estudiantil, sino que un movimiento social. Aquí se ve a los abuelos apoyando a la nueva generación.

The familiar march for education reform continued by Curicó street, the atmosphere was of joy and union. On the buildings some people peered with flags, throwing confetti, with their pans and smiling.

The support was felt everywhere, now the movement isn't just of students, but a social movement. Here are two grandparents supporting the new generation.
